Henley is a small Thames-side town with a long memory, and the families we visit here often have dogs who have walked the river path to Marsh Lock or up onto the Chiltern beech woods at Lambridge for a decade or more. The town centre is compact, but the wider area runs out into a network of lanes and villages that we know well. We cover Henley itself and travel out to Shiplake, Wargrave, Sonning Common, Nettlebed, Stoke Row, Watlington, Nuffield, Goring Heath and Whitchurch-on-Thames. We also reach Twyford, Knowl Hill and Hurley if you are over the river. Our vets are RCVS-registered and the appointment is unhurried, normally around an hour in the home. Sedation comes first so your pet is sleeping and unaware before anything else. We can arrange for the visit to be in a quiet sitting room, a conservatory or a corner of the garden if the weather suits and that feels better for your pet. Cremation is handled through a Thames Valley provider, with private and communal options and ashes returned within 48 hours. The phone number on this page is the local Henley line and is answered by a person who will book the visit with you. nothing is added to the cost on the day.
