Chester is a city defined by its walls, its rows and the slow curve of the Dee, and it has a particular kind of resident pet, older dogs who have walked the meadows below the racecourse, cats who have lived in the same Hoole or Handbridge terrace for fifteen years. Bringing one of those pets to a clinic for the final appointment often feels wrong to the families we speak to. We cover the city itself from Boughton and Vicars Cross through Newton, Upton and Blacon, and across the river into Handbridge, Lache and Saltney. We also travel out to Upton-by-Chester, Mickle Trafford, Christleton, Tarvin and Saughall. Our vets are RCVS-registered and bring sedation as standard so your pet is comfortable before anything else happens. We will not rush, and you can have as many people in the room as feels right, including children if that is the decision you have made as a family. We can also arrange for the appointment to be in a garden or conservatory if that suits your pet better than the front room. Cremation is handled through a local Cheshire provider, with private and communal options, ashes returned if you have asked for them. Costs are explained clearly on the call before we book, and there are no add-on charges on the day.
