Fair Care.

The quiet, careful goodbye your pet deserves.

Clinical care brings expertise, safety and solutions. At the end of a pet's life, what matters more is comfort, calm and dignity.

You know exactly what to expect at every stage, including aftercare and cremation.

  • Honest, transparent pricing

Real prices shown by pet size. No call-out charges and no surprises.

  • Time, space and calm, not pressure

We allow as long as your family needs. This is never rushed.

Covering SA1, SA2, SA3, SA4& surrounding postcodes

Local to you, across Swansea and the surrounding area.

Swansea sits between the sweep of the bay and the start of the Gower and the dogs we are asked to visit have usually walked the same patch for years: Singleton Park and the Botanic Gardens for the families in Uplands, Sketty and Brynmill, Clyne Gardens and Clyne Valley for the streets around Blackpill, Mayals and West Cross, the promenade from the Marina round to Mumbles for the older retrievers and labradors of St Thomas, the Marina and Brynmill, Cwmdonkin Park for the spaniels of Uplands and Townhill, Penllergare Valley Woods for the dogs out at Penllergaer, Gorseinon and Loughor. The cliff path round to Langland and Caswell, and the wide tide-out walk across Three Cliffs Bay, are routines many older dogs from Mumbles and Bishopston still know by heart. Cats are usually long-resident garden cats in a Sketty semi, an Uplands terrace or a Mumbles cottage above the bay. By the time someone rings us, putting an elderly pet into the car along the Mumbles Road or up onto the M4 for a clinic visit is rarely the right last thing. We cover the SA postcodes across the city and out into the Gower: City Centre, Maritime Quarter, St Thomas, Bonymaen, Townhill, Mayhill, Brynmill, Uplands, Sketty, Killay, Cockett, Fforestfach, Gorseinon, Loughor, Penllergaer, Blackpill, West Cross, Mumbles, Newton, Langland, Caswell, Bishopston and Pennard. Our vets are RCVS-registered and the visit is unhurried. Sedation is used first so your pet is asleep before anything else. Cremation is arranged through a trusted South Wales crematorium with private and communal options, and ashes are returned within 48 hours. The number on this page is our central booking line, answered by a person who will arrange a vet for your home visit in Swansea.

How it works.

Three steps. We handle everything around the clinical care so your family can focus on being there.

1

Call or message

Speak to a calm, experienced team member on the local number, or message on WhatsApp. We help you plan timing and answer any questions before anything is booked.

2

A vet visits your home

An RCVS-qualified vet arrives at the agreed time, explains gently what will happen, gives a sedative first, and takes as long as your family needs.

3

We handle the aftercare

If you have chosen cremation, we co-ordinate everything with a trusted partner. Ashes returned, or communal cremation if you prefer.

“From the very first phone call we were dealt with in such an empathetic, caring and kind way. It’s always so hard to say goodbye to a much loved pet, but to be able to do it in the comfort of your own home removes so much stress at an already devastating time. Thank you again x”

Common questions.

How do I know it is time?

One of the hardest questions any family faces. Our free Quality of Life Assessment walks you through the signs vets look for, mobility, appetite, comfort, interest in surroundings. You are also welcome to phone and talk it through. There is no pressure either way.

How quickly can you come?

Most visits across Swansea and the surrounding area are booked same-day, often within a couple of hours. Pre-planned visits for a specific day and time are also available. For urgent, out-of-hours situations the local number is answered from 8am to 8pm.

What happens during the visit?

Your vet arrives, introduces themselves quietly, and takes a few minutes to explain what will happen. They give your pet a gentle sedative first, so they become relaxed and sleepy, usually resting in your arms or on their bed. Only then is the final injection given, and your pet slips away peacefully. We never rush this.

Does it cost more for evenings or weekends?

Out-of-hours and same-day visits carry a small surcharge (£70 each, or £89 combined, and £100 overnight). The visit fee itself is the same regardless of day or time.

Can my children or other pets be there?

Yes, if you would like. Many families find it helpful to say goodbye together. We take your lead on who is present and make sure everyone feels comfortable, including other pets in the household.

What about cremation and aftercare?

We co-ordinate everything. You can choose individual cremation (ashes returned to you), communal cremation (no ashes returned), or home burial if that is what you prefer. No pressure, just the options explained clearly.

How long does a vet from your team take to get to Swansea?

We work to whatever timescale suits the family rather than to a fixed arrival window. When you phone us, we usually have a vet confirmed for you within around twenty minutes, and then the visit is booked for the time you have asked for, whether that is later the same day, this evening, or a quieter morning slot. If you would like someone as soon as possible, say so on the call and we will tell you the earliest we can be there.

Do you cover Uplands?

Yes, Uplands sits within our Swansea cover area and we visit there regularly. If you are right on the edge of where the Swansea team reaches, please phone the local number first to confirm. Most postcodes around Swansea are covered without a travel surcharge, and we will be straight with you if a different local team would actually get to you faster.

How things end matters.

We are here whenever you are ready.

Whether you need us today or you would like to plan ahead, the Swansea team is here to listen. No pressure, just a calm conversation about what is best for your pet.
