Hull is a city that has always pointed at the water and the dogs we visit have usually walked the same routes for years: the Humber foreshore from Victoria Pier out towards Hessle for the streets around West Hull, East Park for the older terraces in Holderness Road and Garden Village, Pickering Park for the homes in Pickering Road and Boothferry Estate, Pearson Park and the Avenues for the larger Victorian houses around Newland and Princes Avenue. The towpath along the River Hull is a favourite for the labradors and spaniels we see, and the cats are long-resident garden cats in a Boothferry semi or a Newland Avenue terrace with the back door always on the latch. By the time someone calls us, putting an elderly pet into a car along Anlaby Road or out onto the A63 for a clinic visit is rarely the right last thing. We cover central Hull and across the city: Old Town, the Marina, Newland Avenue, Princes Avenue, the Avenues, Beverley Road, Sculcoates, Stoneferry, Sutton, Bransholme, Garden Village, Holderness Road, East Park, Marfleet, Hessle Road, Gipsyville, Anlaby Road, Boothferry and Pickering Road. Our vets are RCVS-registered and the visit is unhurried. Sedation is used first so your pet is asleep before anything else. Cremation is arranged through a trusted Yorkshire crematorium, private or communal. The number on this page is our central booking line, answered by a person who will arrange a vet for your home visit in Hull.
