Local to you, across Wolverhampton and the surrounding area.
Wolverhampton is a city of older neighbourhoods that hold their character and the dogs we visit have usually walked the same patch for years: West Park for the streets around Whitmore Reans and Newhampton, Tettenhall Pool and the Smestow Valley path for the homes in Tettenhall, Compton and Castlecroft, East Park for the families in East Park and Heath Town, Bantock Park for the older retrievers and labradors of Bradmore, Merry Hill and Finchfield, Northycote Farm and Pendeford Mill for the dogs out at Pendeford and Bushbury, Penn Common for the spaniels of Penn and Lower Penn. The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal towpath is a favourite walk for older dogs we see in Compton and Aldersley. Cats are usually long-resident garden cats in a Penn semi, a Tettenhall Victorian terrace or a Wednesfield cul-de-sac. By the time someone rings us, putting an elderly pet into the car along the A41 or out to the Black Country Route for a clinic visit is rarely the right last thing. We cover the WV postcodes across the city: City Centre, Whitmore Reans, Newhampton, Tettenhall, Compton, Castlecroft, Finchfield, Bradmore, Merry Hill, Penn, Penn Fields, Bradley, Blakenhall, Parkfields, Ettingshall, East Park, Heath Town, Park Village, Wednesfield, Fallings Park, Bushbury, Oxley, Pendeford and Aldersley. Our vets are RCVS-registered and the visit is unhurried. Sedation is used first. Cremation is arranged through a trusted Midlands crematorium. The number on this page is our central booking line, answered by a person who will arrange a vet for your home visit in Wolverhampton.

“From the very first phone call we were dealt with in such an empathetic, caring and kind way. It’s always so hard to say goodbye to a much loved pet, but to be able to do it in the comfort of your own home removes so much stress at an already devastating time. Thank you again x”

Common questions.
How do I know it is time?+
One of the hardest questions any family faces. Our free Quality of Life Assessment walks you through the signs vets look for, mobility, appetite, comfort, interest in surroundings. You are also welcome to phone and talk it through. There is no pressure either way.
How quickly can you come?+
Most visits across Wolverhampton and the surrounding area are booked same-day, often within a couple of hours. Pre-planned visits for a specific day and time are also available. For urgent, out-of-hours situations the local number is answered from 8am to 8pm.
What happens during the visit?+
Your vet arrives, introduces themselves quietly, and takes a few minutes to explain what will happen. They give your pet a gentle sedative first, so they become relaxed and sleepy, usually resting in your arms or on their bed. Only then is the final injection given, and your pet slips away peacefully. We never rush this.
Does it cost more for evenings or weekends?+
Out-of-hours and same-day visits carry a small surcharge (£70 each, or £89 combined, and £100 overnight). The visit fee itself is the same regardless of day or time.
Can my children or other pets be there?+
Yes, if you would like. Many families find it helpful to say goodbye together. We take your lead on who is present and make sure everyone feels comfortable, including other pets in the household.
What about cremation and aftercare?+
We co-ordinate everything. You can choose individual cremation (ashes returned to you), communal cremation (no ashes returned), or home burial if that is what you prefer. No pressure, just the options explained clearly.
Where will my pet be cremated from Wolverhampton?+
Cremation is arranged through a trusted Midlands partner, so your pet stays in the local area. The cremation partner collects your pet directly from your home in Wolverhampton after the appointment, and they return the ashes, usually within 48 hours. If you would prefer communal cremation, with no ashes returned, that option is available too. Either way, the choice is yours and we will explain everything before the visit.
Do you cover Tettenhall?+
Yes, Tettenhall sits within our Wolverhampton cover area and we visit there regularly. If you are right on the edge of where the Wolverhampton team reaches, please phone the local number first to confirm. Most postcodes around Wolverhampton are covered without a travel surcharge, and we will be straight with you if a different local team would actually get to you faster.
